We have expanded our drying oven capacities for the storage of moisture-sensitive components in accordance with IPC J-STD-033. With the XT-Line drying cabinets, it is possible to store BGA, QFN, rigid-flex & Co. with a residual moisture content of less than 0.5%. This means that components, PCBs and assemblies are preserved in their dry state and are therefore always ready for production.
In July of this year, another JUKI placement system of the latest generation was installed in our clean room. The JUKI RS-1R is based on a completely redesigned base frame, which enables higher placement speeds to be achieved. With the unique TAKUMI placement head, the traverse path is optimally adjusted depending on the component size and thus offers the decisive increase in performance. The wide range of components extends from 0201 chip components (metric) up to an edge length of 74 mm (square) or 50 mm x 150 mm (rectangular). The placement accuracy is +/- 35 µm at speeds of up to 31,000 components per hour (in accordance with IPC9850).
This means that we are definitely up to the new challenges and requests that the future will bring!
